i have'nt spent alot of time with pikes until today! pirrahna realm at st. louis mills mall has 12 4,000 gallon tanks. one of them contain some marms. tank also houses two rtc, multiple banded leoprinis, multiple flagtails, and probably some others. btw when i say multiple flagtails and leoprinis i mean 20+ of each really impressive. anyway back to the pikes. i'm guessing they are in the 12 in. range, and one of them had an extremely swollen abdomen. they were squaring off with each other for about 5 min. straight until the rtc decided to break up my fun. except one of the pikes was'nt having it! a 12 in. marm tried to bully a rtc with a head the size of a volleyball. it took both cats to move her. talk about moxy haha. if you ever get to the area check this place out.

fish shop in a mall and has 12 4000g tanks??? did you add a zero, that's how they sell or it's a big shop?
Wow...where at in St. Louis? I go to Columbia sometimes to see my parents, might have to make a detour for two days or so. Camp out in front of the tank and just watch them for hours!! 
Can't tell for sure, but looks like some Rio Tapajos marms!! VERY VERY NICE!!!!!! Man makes me want to drive 8 hrs just to see them!!!

wow, that's sweet. so they just sit them on granite blocks?
I feel like driving myself just to see that. wish I would of known in '04 when I was travelin around. was it up then?
