Marulia Spec ??

Found 1 juvenile marulia (dont know what spec) at a small unknown LFS (1st time i went there) only half ft in length but white dots already growing tremendously on the body's 6 black band, fin n tail. Price very costly RM200 and after considering for 2 days it end up in my house right now sharing the tank with my juvenile maruloides. D owner of the LFS told me it's from Thailand but i dont think so. looks more like a indon spec. Anyone mind to shed some light ? Pascal ?

possess head structure of a channa straita (common snakehead), body shape of a maruloides..coloration : brownish at upper body, yellow at the bottom belly, eyes slightly turning red..
 
pdwh1971 : definitely not a maruloides. it's a marulia but origin still unknown. hermandrum bought 1 day that but until now he havent post any pic so i couldnt say whether it's d same species or not. d lfs also dont know about it's origin
