Mascara Barb Care

No pretty easy actually. Only thing is tank temp, keep it below 78 they don't enjoy too warm temp. They come from faster running streams and rivers but are very adaptable and hardy. They will eat just about anything so feeding is a breeze. Feed them a high quality cichlid pellet or flake and treat them to something like live black worms every once in a while.
Watch your m/f ratio to many males and your going to have a lot of fights. The males should spar but no damage if damage is being done to other males or females you don't have enough females. Oh and they will probably breed you out of tank space unless your sens are really adept hunters.

Ive been looking for them for awhile where are you getting yours from if I may ask? P.S. I have teardrop barbs and they are very similar to mascara barbs Easy to keep no special requirements they are very hardy as was said.
