They are coloring up nicely and about 5”. I thought the one was getting aggressive towards a robertsoni, but it turned out to be the other robertsoni. Thankfully they haven’t been aggressive and any of the thorichthys push them around.
Also adding a pic of the largest male swordtail. Very thick and pushing 6”.

The regani I had (two separate times), began to get very aggressive at beginning of maturity, about 6"-7" (very similar to the aggressiveness and timing of argentea), and became lethal to all tank mates, even those larger than themselves.
The 2nd time, I gave the one below, (after it killed its mate in my 150 gal tank), to a friend for his 220 gal. I thought that bit extra space might help, it then quickly killed his larger red devil, and Herichthys carpintus in that tank.

That is exactly what I’ve been worried about. Keeping a close eye.
Another thing is this tank needs to go soon as it’s really old. A LFS near me has some pretty good deals on tanks. I’ve been thinking 180g min. Most likely get a 220g as a replacement. I want to coordinate that new flooring.

I've had them around 8" in 100 gallons no prob, aggression like much vieja...

Tank and fish look great. I would definitely recommend doing the tank and flooring at the same time, makes life alot easier.

Thanks Dan, yeah it is a pain to move. I worry about it coming undone if I try lol.
