Got them from Rapps a couple years ago at around 1.5". They are 8"-10"+ today. Have been easy fish for me. Unfortunately I don't have any videos that would feature them mostly or prominently, so these for now:

Got 5 of these guys from Rapps at 1" in the beginning of 2017. They grew up well in a 240 gal presenting no problems with tank mates or among themselves. One exception was they bothered our albino Aral barbels rather badly when at around 3"-4", so were rehomed into another 240 gal.

A couple of videos from Dec 2017:

March 2019:

April 2019:

Nov 2019, different 240 gal, also only 3 left, two males (larger) and one female, (gave a male and a female to a friend in Naples):

V Viejaman323 Cool. Is it me or does yours look different? Mind you I am a cichlid newbie.

Mine's got grey or blue eyes and lack the yellow on the dorsal side and the dark on the ventral side while having prominent black markings on the body which yours doesn't show any of. Is yours Maskoheros / Vieja?

No offense, but I doubt that.
Your fish are literally missing the "argenteus"=silvery in the scales. The other pictures you posted all show silvery glare in the scales.
The proportion of the face looks strange for argenteus in the first picture.
There is too much black in the belly. Even in spawning dress they normally do not show so much black.
There are no pearl spots in the fins.

I know pictures can give wrong impressions. Maybe you have some full body pictures under water.
What is the source of the fish that makes you so sure?
