Mass die off salt river AZ

So me and kevinfleming decided to go out fishing yesterday at the upper salt river above lake Roosevelt. Only to find 1000's and 1000's of dead and dying fish.
I have never seen anything like this,It is just sad and up setting, later i found a news articlel that stated the mass die off was from golden alga bloom.

Holy Crap, that sucks! Are they all the same species? Carp of some sort?

That's crazy, but not the first time something like this has happened. Are all of those fish carp?

No not at all, everything LMB,channel cats,Flatheads catfish and everything in between, we saw 50-80lbs Flathead catfish massive chanells and carp around 4 feet,just crazy. I wonder how long it will take for the part of the river to become healthy aging

Ya very insane,I believe this years flathead catfish spawn is all but wiped out.
