Pretty excited, just got my 2.2lb package of massivore I ordered from amazon. It was 48 bucks with free shipping. Considering I was paying 30 dollars for 13 ounces locally, this has me super stoked! Anyone have good prices on this stuff here?

I usually order from kensfish.com. 2. bags.

Come out $42/each.

Massivore is one item that you can't buy locally without getting raped, you have to buy it online as the smaller packages are ridiculously priced and never go on sale in the shops.I'm going to check out Ken's but added with the other supplies that I get along with the free shipping,Foster and Smith has been my go to source.

The lfs here stopped selling them, so I have no choice but to order now. Most people down here just have cichlid tanks, ponds, or a peaceful community tank. So that's the food they stock. I was so excited when I found that I could order it straight from Hikari with free 2 day shipping on prime. Not the usual thing a woman gets excited about, but I suppose that's why the hubby loves me. :D

The lfs probably stopped selling them because they weren't selling enough to warrant them continuing to stock the high priced, puny packets of the stuff.

Yep that's why I'm sure. I haven't had a single person come into my house and know what fish I have. Except for the kid down the block, but he's the exception, and is driving his mom nuts with fish tanks. Gave them 2 when I down sized.

That was nice of you, though I suspect the kid's mother wasn't exactly thrilled about the free tanks.

She came down to help him bring them home. She wasn't thrilled, but she figures is better than some of the other things he could get into lol. We're friends, I ride her horses for her. They have a zoo, between dogs, cats, lizards, horses, turtles, tortoises, birds, rabbits, fish, snakes etc.
