My female has been acting a little odd and for the last 2 days has not eaten her food. This morning at 9.00 a.m. she was swimming round the tank and splashing the surface before crashing down to the bottom of the tank. Ithought I was going to watch her die!!!!

I then saw her give birth to a MASSIVE pup (female) this is 1 month after she gave birth to the first 2 (1 died)

I will post some pics later but this new pup has big spots and is twice as thick as the previous pup and much bigger.

This is over 130 days gestation.

Shocked is an understatement

Glad it was a shock, and not a devistation! gratz on the new pup and glad mom im assumeing is doing fine!

Thanks all, yes mum is doing well and ray seems to be settling in to the outside world.

Both pups are spoken for and pleased they are going to a good home with loads of fish and ray knowledge and some big tanks too.

Nice swing of emotions for you. Very cool she had another one. I've suspected my ray of still holding after having a litter in the past but it turns out I was wrong.

That's quite the surprise Toby. Glad to hear mom and pup are doing well.
