Well, just for tonight!
Decided I didn't like the placement of my 500 litre tank, it was up against a side and back wall where all my electrics are.
As soon as I'd put it there I knew it was too close to the plugs, so tonight I added 200 litre to tank I'll be using for a salty tank and spent the next hour trying to catch all my fish.
My first mistake was putting the smaller tank on a stand that was higher than my large tank!
I had 4" of gravel, that was far too much so this was removed and cleaned and 2" has been put back in.
Ended up using some of the dead rock I planned on using in the Salty to give my Cichlids a good size cave and removed some of the decoration that has been doing my head in recently.
Sat here listening to 8 filters desperately trying to clear up the fresh water so I can gather the fish before the TSN eats the lot.
Seeing 16 fish in such a small tank is a little freaky.
Think I may spend the salty money on a huge tank instead, and use the 200 tank as a sump.
Just wish I'd thought about it before I went through this hassle.. 8 hours work and I'm still not done!
Big tank needs the same home as the 500. Balls.
