Feeding the large size Hikari pellets to my gar shoal is getting ridiculous. It is obvious that I need to upgrade to a larger size food, so they don't eat so much at one sitting.
I don't know where to begin - but I am assuming that Carnisticks, and Massivore, are the two larger size pellets? Or am I wrong?

Does anybody have a few they could send me for postage? I'm only taking about a few pellets, just to see if they like them or not. Probably easiest to ship in a regular envelope.
I'm in Mass, and am happy to pay for the stamp. I just do not want to buy some, only to find that they do not like the food.

If you know of other suitable options or food choices, let me know! (Only interested in pelletized food, not meaty food, since that does not float.)

Uh... Tell you the truth i'd just go with Ken's Food. Cause He makes Pellets and stuff that all my fish eat... Personally they are cheaper than Hikari and NLS but i feel like the quality is great for someone running his own business. Kensfish.com

he has pellet sizes and stuff. and it shows the active ingredients.

Agreed, but he does not respond to any of my attempts to contact him - I've asked him twice now, if I can pick-up since I'm in the same state - and I also do not want to buy something until I know the gars will eat them.

If somebody has the large-size (larger than Hikari's large pellets) from Ken's Fish, then I'd like to try some of that, too.

Dude ur fish will eat anything, maybe not at first but imo if its healthier they don't have a choice! Always the best for my fish. NLS/01

Thanks for the input guys, but as I said already, I do not want to buy a pack, only to find that the fish do not like it. And no, they won't "eat anything." Just like I won't eat chili. I'm trying to make my life easier, not more difficult. I'm grateful that they eat pellets.
Bump, for anyone who can give me a few pellets to try out.
FishNCash - I'm happy to pay postage if you want to mail a few.
Thanks!

Massivore sinks ? I had no idea - good to know - scratch that. Would love to try some of Ken's larger pellets, or Carnisticks, then.

i dont think they have carni stick. just jumbo sticks.... but meant for carnivores. Uh... hmm unfortunately i switched out of that for my Arowana. I feed him Kens Disks...
