Usually don't post looking for advice or suggestions but I'm stumped. I have a BD male ray, female motoro, jardini, datnoid and 3 super red severums in my 300. All of my stock are finally eating massivore like pigs. Because of the rays I feed twice a day very careful to not overfeed and I siphon the uneaten food out within half hour. I'm starting to see a build up of brown building up on the glass and river rocks and its definitely not algae. l keep the lights on about 3 hours a day and water parameters are good. Appears to be massivore pellet residue build up. Don't wanna get a pleco because of the rays and I know it's hit or miss with flagtails and rays, what else would you guys suggest?

I have the same problem with massivore. Not to mention they clogged the filter sock pretty darn fast and have to clean it every 5-7 days. With your situation, I’m kinda stump too. Isn’t their a plecos that is safe with rays? Wes had some that he recommend that they’re safe with catfish and rays and won’t suck their slime, don’t know what they’re called?

I have a common pleco or sail fin whatever this buddy is he is good with my rays never given me a problem
