Is something wrong when you try to give to your snakehead massivore? I mean i tried twice.. Once i gave him he ate it and spit it (magbe was too big for him) and the second one he didnt even accept it. How can i train this fella to eat it? He accepted food sticks from hikari and the pellets for cichlids but i want to give him massivore too..

Starve him and only throw that in, he will eventually take it when he gets hungry enough...Had the same problem with my micro

For once, I agree with Miks. ;)

The key is to not be the first one to give in.
I've had a gar starve itself for over a month, but it eventually ate.

Fish are stubborn, but like most animal, they usually don't starve themselves to death because the food they get smells funny (Channas do starve themselves to death, but usually because they are bullied).

He ate krikets which was hard to eat. Tried to give him massivore but he spit it out maybe is still big for him. (13cm) I ll wait 2 weeks more and then try again. Now i ll give him tommorow some big pellets for cichlids. What do you suggest guys pellets large or food sticks are better?

He simply is not used to it. Make it his only type of food for a few days or weeks.

You can try soaking them before use, so when he gulps them, they're not hard and he can just swallow them whole.

I personally prefer massivores over carnisticks.
What channa is it? If it gets big, it might not be worth feeding him cichlid golds, by the time he gets used to them, he may outgrow them.
