Would massivore be good for my new world cichlids (Jack Dempseys, Green Terrors, Convicts, Red Devil, Mayan, and Jag)? Im trying to get them to grow bigger-faster. I have only ever had small fish and I am ready to have some big ones! I currently feed mainly NLS Cichlasoma Formula 3mm sinking pellets, and Freeze Dried Tubiflex worm cubes, Frozen baby brine shrimp, and the occasional feeders. Would massivore benefit the current menu? or am I sufficient for maximum growth. Also, how often is best to feed for maximum growth? I read that overfeeding can actually impede growth.

I would incorporate it, but continue the well balanced diet with all of those others. Right now, I am feeding my carpintis Vonthillo's
-massivore
-NLS
-brine shrimp

As a staple, I feed my CA's Hikari Sinking Carnivore Pellets (same thing as Massivore, but smaller in pellet size). I get very fast growth, excellent coloration, and they go crazy for it (they literally splash me at feeding time). In the past I've used NLS, Omega, Cichlid Gold, API, etc. However, the Sinking Carnivore Pellets have always been their favorite. With that being said, I wouldn't try to feed your Cichlids too much too fast. Fattening them up/power feeding them is actually counterproductive to their overall health and vitality. I've always found that frequent water changes (1-2 a week @ 20-30%) plus a bit warmer temp (83-84F) produces the best growth/health.

I am the same way, I feed mine sinking carnivore and my devil is now big enough to eat massivore and it def brings their colors out and helps them put on size. I also mix in hikari sinking gold and occasionally blood worms.

Massivore is useful but its the equivalent of eating fast food every day. I prefer NLS and Xtreme for a staple and massivore as the occasional.

Patience and lotsa clean water=fastest growth

i strongly disagree with this... fast food is bad for you, how is massivore bad for fish? its one of the most expensive and top quality pellets on the market. that statement was trash. feeding frozen bloodworms every day would be more like earing fast food every day.
