I recently purchased my first bag of massivore delite for my aro's and chocolate cichlids. When I open the bag there is a horrible oder of rotting fish, Is this what it is suppose to smell like of did I receive a spoiled bag ?
My cl's are the only fish that will even touch the stuff and the aro's that will eat anything don't even bat an eye at it same with the chocolates.

yep that's how massivore smell. If it smells bad then your fish will like it... that is what i noticed!

Aside from that,do the bags have an expiration date stamped on them?

Masivore does not smell.

IT REEKS!

Yes massivore does smell like that. You have to realize it is mostly composed of meaty materials. Other fish feed is mostly made up of grains, wheat product. That is why massivore is more expensive. And with all new food, the fishes will have to get use to it, but once they do, it is like candy for them.
