Let me start by saying that This is NOT going to be one of those debates about which one is better for our fish. I want to know your personal experiences and perhaps some pictures that show before and after results. I've recently been trying different types of food for my bass because of cost. As we all know, the cheapest you can get massivore is about $42 for 2.2 pounds. I only have 6 bass and I can easily go through 2 pounds in a month with feeding 6 days a week. What have you used that your bass seem to enjoy and what have been your results as far as how the fish has looked before and after from on brand to the next.

Originally it was supposed to be since bass eat so much but if you have experiences with other cichlids or any other kind of fish then by all means, feel free to post.

This has been hit on a few times in this forum. I feed both.
I have always seen better growth and colors with massivore.
NLS 10mm is harder to get cichla on. I have all my bigger bass on it for cost reasons. I wouldn't use it for grow outs till 10".

I'm curious about the results with NLS with other cichlids. I feed my fish a variety of different food and and massivore and other hikari products. They all look good IMO. I'd like to see NLS fed cichlids. Maybe I'll change if overall results are better.

Well my Broko (15") and my rio xingu tem (13") ate the nls just now. My smaller bass from 8-12" just spit it out.

Try breaking them into smaller pieces for training purposes.

I've recently switched from hikari carnisticks to sera "granuar" it's a German company and ingredients were very close to hikari and it's quite a bit cheaper!
