probably, may take time for them to get use to sinking pellets since what they eat now flows.

would 2-2.5inch rbps eat hikari massivore sinking pellets? right now there eating hikari cichlid gold

You know what I've been thinking about trying? My P eats a lot of frozen shrimp. I was thinking about thawing some out, cutting it into pellet sized pieces, finding some good high quality pellets, and mixing them together in a tupperware bowl and leaving them over night, then trying to feed the pellets. I was thinking it may smell like what he normally eats. When I feed, I drop it in and he swims out and hits it. If I alternated shrimp chunk for pellet, he'd probably strike it before he realizes it wasn't shrimp. You could probably try it with the new food too.

yah my Ps eat alot of frozen shrimp too ... all they did was take a couple bites of the massivore lol n left it alone :( then i put shrimp n they ate it all lol..

if you really want them to eat what you buy just starve them for a day or two and then the first thing you put in should be the new food, usually fish are so opportunistic they will eat whatever is available. i had to do that when introducing a new food to their variety.....i also alternate what i feed them first so they don't get picky... good luck.....and mabe you should check out some beefheart recipes alot of ppl add shrimp and other vits like spirulina or many others. and you may wanna freeze that stuff so it don't stink up the whole house/fridge
