Hi' Guy's,

I'm getting another two hopefully wild caught Laps this friday which are around 10inch so about the size of the one i already have and to fill up the box if there's room (and providing he still has it in stock) i was hoping to get a Tire Track eel which is around the same size.
I know the eel will get much bigger than the Poly's but is it able to eat them? The smallest poly i have is my Ornate but i'll move this to another tank until it's a bit bigger, the smallest fully grown will be the senegalus.

Also just to confirm a single tire track should be ok in a 100gal for a few years ?

Cheers Ben

I have a 22" tire track eel with my 8" senegal bichir and they do fine. I'll be worry about the eel not getting it share of food if they are still in training. They tend to be shy when newly introduce and are picky eater. Best to get the spiny eel at bigger size as the bichir will soon out grow the eel.

Cheers for the quick reply the tire track it the same size as the Lap /weeksii at present. I'll give it a bash and see how it go's :) I'll Post pics of the Laps on Friday
