i was looking to get a new turtle and i was thinking of either getting a mata mata or a fly river, any suggestions or ideas, like some pics and info also a website to get them fairly cheap seeing as i know how much they cost....

It comes down to what you'd prefer to see in the tank. The mata matas will resemble rocks for the better part of any day and only move to feed or seek better shade. FRTs will occupy all levels of the water column and be on the move for the better part of the day.
having had both I'd go with the mata mata .. mine is surprisingly active and absolutely amazing to feed ....
Both species have reasonably specialised care requirements ... ultimately you'll need a smaller tank for the mata than for the FRT
