Whats the best way to make a pair with a Flowerhorn? I was thinking about having my two cichlids that i wanted to pair him with in the tank first, then introducing the male flowerhorn.

The fish that would possibly pair with him area 5'' female JD, a female convict that has wanted to breed since i've had it (even with my female JD), and if you guys think so, one of those petsmart Kamfas. I also need to know hoe to sex the kamfas. If a pair forms the other fish would be sold to my lfs. If a pair never forms then they all would be sold.

Please share some advice...

Trial and error, if you're asking if it's possible for them to cross, it is. If you're asking if they'll be able to be housed together, it is possible, but more often, in practice, a fh will be too aggressive to its tank mate. You can try to see if they'll coexist with each other, otherwise you'll either need a divider or a separate tank.

i knew they could cross, so I was wondering if he would tolerate them. Is there a way that I can introduce him to the other fish gradually so that he is more used to them? I really don't want to sell my JD or Convict in my situation.

Tank divider, let them get accustomed to each other with it first, then try lifting it and see how they are. Just make sure both fish are around the same size or at least the male is around the size of the female or larger.

Check home depot or lowes, they'll have a sheet of eggcrate for around $10, same for a sheet of plexi.

For eggcrate I use metal sheers, but I'd imagine any scissors would work, it snaps pretty easy. For plexi you can either use a utility knife to score a straight line (use a level or metal ruler) and snap it in two, or use a jigsaw, dremel, etc..
