Hey guys. One more...

I like to spot clean my tank at least once a day, and the siphon I have is just a little too short so I have to dunk my arm in my 125. My Python does not pick up waste for some reason.

I have one of those little clear and blue extendable siphons that I just run into a bucket for my daily spot cleans, and I was just wondering what would be the best materials to build one out of? Where can I find a 2 foot long .5" diameter piece of plastic, and how about the piece to attach the hose to it? And I'm looking for about 6 feet tubing to attach to it.

Thanks!

Well, if you're talking about a piece of hard plastic but I might have an idea that might work. Now bear with me. You ever see those long plastic things that has a handle that you sqeeze and the other end grabs things. I think the tube is about .5 inches wide but I don't see the reason why it has to be .5 inches when you can get a different size hose.and just
connect it to. Otherwise, go to one of those 1$ stores and look for plastic brooms or things that might work. Sometimes it's surprising what you can find in those stores. Hope this didn't sound too crazy, The Doctor
