Hi guys just got home from work to find my friends pearl ray has given birth. I say my friends as while he's moving house I'm looking after a few of his fish.

As far as I know this has Been the fourth breeding of these rays. To be honest I thought they looked different as well but there has only been the father in the tank for over twelve months and before that there was a black pearl ( + thin white lines). No other ray types. They a're though very small which I'm surprised about only 2.5 inch disc so wether this is why they look different atm.

Will keep the post updated as they grow.

I can see where Peter is coming from here Lewis, if I didn't know both you and Mark I would have questioned the parentage,your right it will be due to the small size, tiny aren't they.
