Mating pair? Salvini and Green texas.

Well I went away Saturday, everything was normal. My JD was still chasing my Texas around Salvini was chasing everything and the red terror was just chillaxin. I come back Sunday and my texas has changed color and is squared off with my JD (have a video of this). The salvini is staying in the pot and its not the usual place she is. The texas is kind of just staying around it.

This morning I wake up and turn on the lights and really look and I see eggs.

How likely is it that anything will come from this spawn? The texas is still really small, bout an inch and a half or so, 2" at the most.

Just got batteries for my camera, but im not home now. So here are cell phone pics I snapped before I went to work.

I havent even really set this tank up with sand or decorations yet, I was doing that this week. I guess I have to wait to see what happens first right?

Just dont let them get out into pet stores. Use them as feeders or keep them to yourself if they hatch. We dont need anymore hybrids invading the hobby.

Nah, I wont, but im gonna keep a few to see what they look like. The rest will be feeders....if my other fish will eat them. If not, guess I could give them to my brothers red devil.

I really never planned on breeding fish, so I really dont plan on selling these. I might just keep a few to try to grow out and see what they look like. None of the other threads I read about this hybrid seemed to have adult pics. We will see though. Some of the eggs have turned white.

There are wigglers now. Shouldnt be too long. Will post pics later. Was kind of hard to get good pics since theyre in the corner.
