mating Question with Bamboo Sharks

Stupid question but could 15 inch male White spotted bamboo, and a 14 inch female grey bamboo ever mate? Long story short came across a good deal with a guy I bought the female from and I already have the male. I really just curious if it could happen.

I'm no shark expert, but I think Bamboo sharks reach sexual maturity:

Adult males reach sexual maturity at 27-30 inches and females at about 25inches.

It's rare that two different types of sharks would breed and have living offspring.
