Matrix or Pond Matrix?

Is there any real difference between Seachem's Matrix and Pond Matrix or are they marketing the same product as two separate products?

pond matrix seems to be of bigger sizes while matrix is smaller, but looking at the two they look pretty identical in terms of materials

Yes, the bigger media will house more anaerobic bacteria in the center. Better.
