MAX ACR Questions, Cure time? Scuff B4 silicone?

SO , I am using MAX ACR to seal a playwood Aquarium. I know lots of u guys have used it in the past also! I was wanting to verify a few things.

After the last coat is applied, How long B4 U can silicone in the glass?

Do u scuff up the lip where u are going to silicone the glass in or just leave it smooth?

I will be applying my last (7th) coat tomorrow morning.

If you have experience PLEASE help me out.

i too would like to know this as well, as i am still undecided between max acr and sanitred.

It's been a while but I believe it was 24 hours cure time and I did scuff up (lightly) the max acr and the acrylic where the silicone was going.

U used acrylic? I got glass.

Hello.
The glass was bonded to the cured MAX ACR after 3 days of room temperature curing. It was lightly sanded with 180-grit sandpaper and then wiped several times with a clean rag dampened with acetone to remove any contaminants and then silicone sealed.
