max height

is a 36 inch tall DIY stand too tall? what is the max height recomended?

It kinda depends on the height of the tank, personal preference, and what has to go under it (sump, etc).

For my 24" tank, the DIY stand is 32". I would've preferred to have it shorter for easier access and because I like to look down on my fish, but I couldn't find a good standard size tank for the sump.

What are you planning?
