guys, what's the maximum size of a leopoldi? i've read they grow to just about 15" disc diameter but i've heard some say they've seen some at 24" disc diameter so its a little bit confusing

females get bigger than males i have seen a 20inch female so i think they can grow to 24inch easy

i think the males would max out at around 20inch

Yeah maybe in an 18" wide tank, and then die a week later!

They get big.. I agree with the 30"+ statement.. Someone will have more precise info here soon..

they do get large, but the large ones that Ive seen don't move much as compared to younger ones so I am not sure how big a tank you would need. The big rays mostly just sit in one place

Aqualog has them up to 40 cm , which would be roughly 16 inches. But its safe to say they will hit up to 18 inches.

they get very big. like said above they will reach about 24" and up. so if you plan on getting one make sure you got a big tank
