Max size of ABK

I've had my ABK for about..... 7 - 8 months now. It's grown about 2" in that time. It just dawned on me....How large can I expect this guy to get? He seems fine now, I have him in a 34H. Its about 5" long, at most. I feed him high quality frozen food and supplement with flake. This guy won't blow up to over 18", will he?

African Brown Knives (Xenomystus Nigri) will average 8" It has been said 12", but that's very rare. The largest I've seen was 9" They grow pretty slow after 5"-6"
