I was told not long ago that Parrot Cichlids can reach 16", is this true? I've never seen one this big. I've seen some the size of oscars, but nothing bigger. Can you please post the largest parrots you've seen? Are males typically larger than females? I am talking about regular Blood Red Parrot Cichlids, not king kong or anything.
Being that they are hybrids, can a max size even be given? Or would they all reach different sizes depending on parentage? Meaning you can never really know how big a pet store parrot could get?
