Maxi-jet 400/600 pro for circulation

Hey guys, I recently put sand in my 30 gallon tank and realized I have basically no circulation in the tank, everything just settles right down, I saw the marines and maxi jets on sale and was wondering what size would suit a 30 gallon tank better, a 400 or 600? Thanks!

If youre speaking of the new Marineland Maxijets that you can trasform from utility pump to circulation pump to power head i would go with the smallest size. it will turn over your water plenty in a 30 gal. if you are buying this to use it as a circulation pump then i suggest buying Koralia pumps from Hydor instead. Italian made in the place of chinese made Marineland pumps. Trust me i know these products well.

I agree with what is said above about koralia being the better pump but they can be on the pricier side

Well I'm being cheap right now haha, I found them for about 12$ a piece right now and thanks for the advice!
