maxijet/rio waterpump

i have a mag and i love it, i hear great things about rio too but i have not heard to much about maxijet, you'll have to wait for some others to chime in.

What are you using the pump as? I have used both Rios and Maxijets. I currently have a Mag-drive 24 running my return and two maxijets with sureflow modifications in my tank circulating the water. I heard Rio use to be pretty shotty but has been better lately. There are complaints of electric shocking in the water from rio pumps, but i heard that has been corrected.

yea i was thinking of going with the rio or mag but i think ill try go with the mag

I am looking at the Maxi-Jet Submersible Utility Pumps Model 1800are they any good?
