Maximum growth for young Dovii.

I have raised plenty of female Dovii, but Tuesday 07/29/08 I purchased my first male dovii. He is only about 3 inches long. I have him in a 55 gal tank with my large female Dovii. I had to put a divider in the tank to keep the large female from trying to kill him. What are the best foods to feed my young Dovii for maximum growth??

I fed mine freeze-dried krill, Hikari Sinking Carnivore and Hikari Massivore (break it up). He grew pretty fast.

I'm in the same boat as you.. always had female dovii (purchased 4 and all 4 were female, what are the odds, still looking for a male..).

I get good growth feeding Cichlid Gold as a staple but I also include, krill, night crawlers, shirmp, talapia and beef heart.
