IN FISH PARADISE
hello FH Fans ..

how u all doin

first of all i know that there is alot of FH food worldwide that concern for the colors and Kok .. but

im starting something like a small project ( wont call it a farm now ) for breeding RD's ..

so i need alot of food and most of all cheap enough to let me fix my legs in the BIG MARKET ..

i want to my prices to talk .. so i must have a very HQ fish beside low costs ..

but i can get a very fine food too like shrimp i can get 1k for only 4 US dollars .. and any other thing like sparolina ( but i have heard that sparolina makes alot of dark spots on most of fishes , dont know how true it is )

i wanna make a recipe that enhance the growth of Kok and colors and not to pay alot at FH commercial food like sumo ,, tetra louhan .. etc ..

so what do u say guys ??

does that works great for Flowerhorn ??

3 cups ground beef heart/veal heart
1 cup raw shrimp
1/4 lb raw salmon
1 cup ON Prime Reef flakes
1/2 cup pellets
1 tablespoon liquid vitamin ( yes centrum makes this)
1 tablespoons paprika
2 crushed garlic cloves
1 /2 cup cooked spinach pureed
1 really ripe Banana.

Don't know about the other stuff but beef heart isn't good for them in large quantities, way too fatty and the wrong kind of fat. It would be like us eating batter dipped, deep fried, twinkies all year. It may taste good (I still won't try it) but it's not good for you.

I would try to fish a good fish to put in there - salmon is first in my mind, you could add some cod or haddock for some cheap bulk (it's used in fish sticks for humans).

so u'd say fish meal is better than beef meal ?? huh !

Cut down on the amount of beef, or even remove it. like the OP said, beef heart has alot of fat, and the wrong type of fat for these fish.
