I may be getting a 75gallon for my Oscar and i was wondering if i could have any tank mates with him and what king of tank mates i could get if any
i kinda want to get another larger cichlid if i can

i was thinking of something bigger and more aggressive (a sevrum wouldn't stand much of a chance against my oscar)

4'x18" is a footprint that only one monster cichlid can be kept in, any more is crouding

Oscars and JD's usually tankmate well together. If you have sufficient filtration and are willing to commit to the water changes an Oscar and another cichlid will need, you may be able to pull it off. It'll still depend on the individual personalities of the fish for compatibility and it's going to seem too small when they get big. If it doesn't work, just keep the Oscar and a few Silver Dollars.

in a 75 with a oscar i would suggest getting anything big like a jd or a gt. maybe something like a couple firemouths and some cats

well i already have a jd and im keeping her in my 55 gallon because i hope to possibly breed her i might do a green terror if i can find one large enough
