Does this sound like a good deal for everything listed? EVERYTHING is including for $550.

The owner says that he has had it for a year. Purchased it for $925. But never set it up! Says that it was up and running the day before he picked it up and holds water fine. Says the glass is in Very Great shape!

He has already dropped it down from 800 then listed it 625 and said that I could have it $550 tomorrow!
Thoughts?

And you do realize you're asking confirmed fish addicts if you should buy another tank, right?

If I were you I would have tried to get it yesterday. That's a great deal.

Yeah... Went and looked at it and ONCE again, I was lied to just to get me over there! WHY THE HECK CAN'T Sellers just be honest. The Stand and Canopy were in bad shape. The Tank's silicon was all ate up and BLUE and the equipment was JOKE!!!! Everything that said brand ne in box!? MY ASS!!!! The Stuff had deposits all over it and was dirty as a HELL!!!!

The he's got the balls to TRY and sell me on like I'm an idiot!!!

So back to the hours of searching and sending emails!

Okay so I have an update...

I saw this 180 gallon acrylic... And was wondering if it would be a better idea if I plan on putting this in a carpeted room. As in it would be a bit more forgiving if need been...?

I would have to build a stand again for it. Not a big deal though. But the owner sys that it's new but has a small scratch on one side from where the wrapping was removed... Do these normally come wrapped like this or is it a selling point, most likely. I've never really contmplated on having an acrylic before...

What would be a good price to negotiate to?

I'd pay $500 for that tank if it was near me as long as I thought I could buff out any scratches with a DA polisher.
