May I know if this is a nile perch?

I just got it from a guy in another forum and he claims its a nile perch. I'm just curious how to differenciate a nile perch and a normal Barrumandi?

It's tough for me to tell with the blue tint to the photo and my small phone screen.Nile perch usually have a mottled coloration...It looks a little beat up but nothing too serious,how big is it and if you don't mind how much was it?
 
There are slight patches of Gray and black on the fish. As the Nile perch get bigger, they lose their colors.Barramundi Nile Perch
 
The key to id'ing them, for me at least, is that the barramundi have that unique arch from the back down to the head whereas the Nile perch is more of straight line.
 
Good photos,Strollo.I read on here somewhere that there is a difference in tail shape but I'm not sure about that.

Oh my those are some good advices I heard from some others it can be differenciate by the patterns on their body? Perch have a more rocky pattern on them compared to barramundi? And by their top fin?
