Hello all,
I have a convict that has been placed with a known male convict for a while (2 weeks+), I suspect it was a female when I bought it, but it does not have a orange/red belly. But the body shape and flat head made me think it is a she. But my known male convict keeps chasing "her" to the corner and even physically attacking "her", so I think it might just because "she" is a "he". They are in 30 gallon tank!
Here comes my venting pics, I have tried my best to take those photo, thank you again so much for your opinion folks :)

it sounds male from whats been happening, as well as the lack of colouring as a secondary indicator. I can't really see from those pics

If I don't see orange on the belly or some variation of red I wouldn't think its female. Every single female I've seen has that indication. Even if its faint it should have it.

all I see is a fish rectum, sorry. now in the tank prob give you a better ideal.
