Mayan Snapper?

I'm looking for info on Mayan Snapper. Anyone have one in their tank?
I saw some 2.5" ones and i'm thinking about getting some.

That's the only name he had for it. It is freshwater.

thats really kool!it looks like its a gigantic cichlid but maybe a tilapia type species as well.......like a hybrid

It is a cichlid. Also known as the false red terror since it looks like a festae when little. Sci name is Cichlasoma Urothalmus.

Bentho, you should be able to catch some in Florida.
