i was wondering if i have a platinum cause my regular bichir is a lot brighter than my albino. the other regular bichir is alot darker than my big one. is it possible that he is a platinum or what do the platinums look like?

Nope......platinum fish are platinum from birth. You have a really well taken care of poly.

If you don't know what platinum looks like, then your bichir is definitely not platinum!

Bichir color could get lighter or darker on different day, or different time due to environment such as lighting, substrate, background, stress, water condition, food... so a regular bichir gets brighter for whatever reason doesn't turn it into a platinum
