IN YOUR HEAD
could a sa lungfish or any lungfish go in this tank
tank dim 10'x5'x3'
stocklist
1 silver aro
1 florida gar
3 tsns
thats my list for now i am thinking about atf, payara and dorados also...but i'm not sure on compatability...maybe more gar, cats, and aros are the way to go...open for ideas

SAL or AUL are the only two species that would fit. The African species are too aggressive and with kill or mutilate their tankmates.

Well, with big, mean monsters it's never a sure thing, but I've kept SALs with all the above fish (except ATFs and Dorado) with no issues.

cool...any thoughts on when i should introduce then...my cats are 4", aro is 15", gar is 10" the others have not been bought yet...i was also thinking of a sturgeon and a paddlefish...

The only problem is the depth of the tank, SALs don't like deep water. I'd go for one at least 24" long.

Depends on the size of the SAL...for under 24" I'd say yes.

do you know how much a 24" normaly runs...would it be posible to get a smaller one or would it take to long to catch up to the tsns...

Does this become a problem as they get larger? Do they have more trouble getting to the surface? My 5-6" SAL has no problem in 18" of water
