ive had this 30gal for 6 months or so.. for 3 weeks the water was crystal clear then it started getting "foggy".. so i steped up the water changes and stoped overfeeding and it cleared up again for about a week..

3 days later it started getting foggy again... all my levels have always been good.. ive cycled out all the plants, rocks, gravel, wood even the fish. nothing changes anything..

when my house got fumigated a few weeks ago everything went into a tub for a week.. the tank went ultra toxic and the "test fish" that were left behind all died so of course the tank got brokendown and everything got scrubed/washed and dryed and then scrubed/washed again..
meanwhile the rubbermaid tub was crystal clear for 11 days (small water changes, light feeding.. everything stayed good)
i switched over the HOB filter that i had on my temp tank back to the 30G along with the filter media (which i had cycling for a month in advance) and everything was good for about 24 hours... then it started getting foggy again...

i blacked out the tank for 4 days, removed all the gravel, removed the powerhead, backed off on waterchanges, gotten new dechlorinater and basicly have one by one ruled out every possiable thing except the tank..

i have been doing 20%-50% daily water changes just to keep the tank clear enough so that i can see if my fish are still alive or not... the tank is not overstocked, im not overfeeding... the tank thats right next to it gets the same food, same bucket for water changes, same amount of sun and its crystal clear...

other than the tank itself (or well the seals since i dont think glass can leach) i dont know what it could be.. its a new tank from petco no some yardsale find..

anyone have any thoughts or anything...
