Yes ortiz did a obvious dirty move with the head butt but I felt mayweather shouldve been disqualified. The ref didnt clear the fighters to continue fighting and the ref was still in the process of taking the point from ortiz.

Mayweather sucker punched him while the ref wasnt looking

dirty as heck. but it was legal, ref did clear them to fight again.
sportsmanship point of view that was dirty.
but you cant blame him, it was a smart move just dirty.
ortiz act like he didnt care cuz he felt bad for headbutting floyd.
you can tell ortiz lost all confidence once he headbutted floyd.
nobody to blame but ortiz. he knew he messed up.
floyd will def lose more rep for this. but its obvious he doesnt
care about reps.

I didn't see it but the report on ESPN.COM seems to jibe with what Nikon is saying.Doesn't sound like grounds for disqualification.

Ortiz, you are in a fight. You are in a ring and involved in a fistfight. Keep your hands up at least. Its a fight not a biz meeting. Cheap but ortiz's fault
 
The sad part is, Ortiz was doing a hell of a lot better than De La Hoya, and although pointswise he was down, looked like he was getting in some solid punches when he backed mayweather up against the ropes.

I think he let his excitement get the best of him and made a stupid move. He cheated himself out of a good fight.

Am I the only one that doesn't care about a Pacquiao match right now and is looking forward to this re-match?

No you are not.The rematch,if Floyd does not sink it,should be tremendous.
 
Interview with larry merchant was classic. I think mayweather shouldve been disqualified ref was still talking to ringside judges and wasnt paying attention. True keep your guard up but this wasnt a street fight it was suppossed to be a controlled PROFESSIONAL fight
