maz length for texas

whats the max in length for a texas,on average.Right now i have a 5 inch deep 8.5 inch long texas with a huge gut.heres some pics.I do water chages once a week and add aquarium salt to the water,to prevent disease.his diet is mainly cichlid golod and earthworms.

What size tank? I think I already sid in the photo lounge, but nice fish. I think the max is actually like 12 or 13 but yes 9 or 10 is probably the average max.

that will be extremely hard in a 12 inch wide tank... prob for the best to upgrade...

bigger tank would be better something wider. a 75g would be better. the bigger the better.

An adult female cyanoguttatus will certainly be over over 6". I'd say 8-10". Males 10-12" as you said.

Beautiful tex, just upgrade to a 75+ for some additional growth
