Mazon river in Illinois

I was wondering if any one knows anything about this river I have heard that the is a salamander that lives in the river that dose not live any other place has anyone else heard of this???

Prob a hellbender salamander. They are a protected species though and are spread out over the south in streams and rivers.

no, that a Chinese giant salamander and also Japanese giant salamander
