MBU in a large community???

hey I am preparing to stock an 8x3x2 360 gallon tank with my silver aro, a datnoid, ornate bichar(s), and possibly some severums

Could an Mbu do well in here? I realize every fish is different. I have heard Mbus are different from other puffers, still i would be very upset to see it bite my aro in half So am I just asking for trouble? I would realy LOVE to keep this fish and I feel the tank would look empty without one

Welcome to MFK!!!

With any puffers, including mbus, the rule of thumb is to never put them in a community with anything you'd regret losing. They can be the perfect tankmate for months or years then, just flip out and tear up everything moving in their tank. Even an accidental bite, from going after the same piece of food as another fish, can be extremely damaging.
