I have a 22 inch Mbu that has stopped eating and is sitting in the top of the front of the tank with what looks like a lack of ability to get to the bottom. Tank parameters are as they always are and no new tank mates. The only thing I can think of is I was away for a week at Christmas and the heater blew causing the tank temp to go to 69 for the week. She seemed ok after however has gone down hill. Any thoughts?

Nothing going on with the fish appearance? Bloated?(yes I know it's a puffer lol) and redness or sores? Sounds a lot like what happened to my RTCxTSN, at 2' he just stopped eating and would just hang rit in the middle of the tank

Fish is fine. Looks however like some white spots on the fins......Do puffers get ich?

That's not ick but another issues, it is non harmful though. My fahaka had them. Must remove by hand.

Sounds like swim bladder to me personally. By the way Puffers without a doubt CAN get Ich. Upping the temp and adding aquarium salt is the best and most safe way to treat freshwater puffers with Ich in my experience. Not saying that's what yours has but I have personally had a few come down with it after moving them from the LFS to home. How long has your tank been setup for? Have you made any recent changes at all?

No recent changes and she going to dye so please help. Her head seems to be heavier than the tail and she is keeping her tail up near the top of the water. If this is a swim bladder issue can I fix it? I am super stressed as she has not eaten in 2. weeks. I have been treated her with salt and high temp with no help.
