Mbu Puffer Burying Itself

Hi, just had a quick question, my mbu puffer that is about 8 months old or so is burying himself. Ive only ever seen him do it 2 or 3 times though, is this normal behavior?

He is about 6-8" in a 180 gallon tank with a sand bottom.

Severums, geos, acaras, gouramis, plecos, and some eels and polypterus live with him.

Perfect water.

Mine used to do that at that size as well. Never saw any problem with it

My fahaka has been burying herself since she was about 2 inches.. She still try's now at 14 inches (although far less successfully) it's an inbuilt drive when they get nervous and cannot find a sufficiently small hole to hide in to make themselves feel safe. It's nothing to worry about, My fahaka is the biggest fish in her tank by far but still does this..
