MBU puffer + DAT?

what about FRT and dat? I got a 5'' frt and thinking of mixing it with 3 7-8'' dats in a 300g. i did mix it with a 9'' and they did fine in a 180
 
Any FRT or Puffer mix is risky...

Both tend to be very agressive and fish killers!
 
frt and dats should be fine, just keep a watch on the frt. Mine hasnt eaten anything besides fruit and food I give it.
 
hey truvout does your FRT have like small crater looking thing on the shell? also some white bumpy spots...wat u mainly feed ur FRT?
 
i have a 5" mbu with a 8" payara both in a 15 gallon with no problems.the mbu doesn't eat feeders,only the sabertooth eats them.
 
i have kept FRT with tigers works fine for about 6 months then that cute little FRT will turn into a killer everyone thinks their FRT will be diffrent but turtles eat fish their for turtles are not a good mix with ANY fish


i know someone who had 5 x 12inch ST with a 14inch MBU he didnt keep them in the same tank for long

at the end of the day they are your fish your turtle but i wouldnt risk it
 
Yer T1 is right there - mine didn't like sharing a tank with a load of big ST's. The puffer kept trying to bite the end of the Dats dorsals - quite worrying when the Dats cost so much!
In a bigger tank I don't think it would be so much of a problem.


Small dats would be absolutley fine with Mbu's as long as the Mbu is fine with other fish. Mine was A OK with dats around 5-6".
