Mbu Puffer Questions!

I can't find the following information in the internet, so I will ask it here.

Does Mbu puffer like strong & mild current? or do they prefer calmer water basin?

Is it normal for newly introduce puffers to swim against the glass of the tank relentlessly? if not, is it because they are afraid of their tankmates?

Can a 4" Mbu bite thru the shell of a sea clam?

Can I feed my Mbu sea clam?

Mine likes calmer water; glass surfing is normal; and I would think at 4" the sea clam would have too thick of a shell, but I'm not too familiar on types of clams; I started giving mine Manila clams at around 8-10". Smaller crayfish, snail, and market shrimp should work fine.

And I thought paying $6.50 per 5 days for feeder fish is bad enough!

I have a mild current setup, so debris won't stay fix at a place, it will always get push toward the pump. So calm water is nearly impossible! GRRRR!

Local bait shop doesn't sell crayfish and I don't want to drive an hour to my local lake to catch my own! :o

Snails are expensive at pet shop!!! $2.99 for an apple snail, I am gonna go broke after a month! O_O" So is shelled shrimps too! $10.99 a pack O - O"

A $10.99 pack of shrimp will last awhile, at 4" I feed like 1/2-1 shelled shrimp a day lol. Farmers market and some asian markets have cray in season at 3.99 a lb! Haha. Just wait til the mbu get big tho haha.

Hi, dont wanna hijack the thread bit do you guys know if these guys are compatible with pretty much everything but other puffers? Im getting a 375 gallon soon and im thinking either a mbu puffer or a fire eel as my centerpiece fish. Its going to have geo red heads and bicirs for the rest of the stocking.
 
I feed frozen mussels that come in vacuum sealed packages. Only $10 for 50 or so.

My mbu is about 6" currently. In a 150 for another month or so till 600 ready. He doesn't bother any tank mates other then when he bit the dorsal spine on my tig. Get a marbled crawdad. Self cloneing so a 20L makes a perfect colony. I also feed it pellets and tilapia and snails. I get loads of snails from people in the local club. Glass surfing is normal. My mbu doesn't but my fahaka does. It rams the glass so hard he breaks his teeth. He wants to kill the p bass across from him.
