Mbu tankmates

Would an mbu, arowana, stingray combination ever work out? How about any sort of spiny eel?

I hear puffers can be pretty vicious, but I don't have a lot of info on these guys, at least not anything new, as in stuff besides the info on random online puffer care sheets and whatnot, and most of that isnt very specific.

Mbu search out food off the bottom and will "sample" any bottom dweller that happens to be there. My mbu has also taken chunks out of fish that have swam above him at feeding time so I wouldn't think your combo would have much chance of working out.

My MBU has alot of community tank mates that he leaves alone, but he will fight with my eel if it goes near his food during feeding. I also had to get rid of the pleco that was in his tank because they started figting over food. So I would definatly stay away from the stingray, but other top swimmers may work.
